WEDNESDAYS #2 vs. BRUINS:

(vol. 41W, no. 2; newsletter by b.n.)
For our second game of the Wednesday season we played an out-of-division game vs. the Bruins. Although we lost 4-0, the game seemed somewhat closer than that as we trailed only 1-0 at the break and two of the final three Bruin goals came within the last 2:00-minutes of the final period.

The highlight of the night, however, occurred with, with 3:28-remaining in the 1st period when Dave Matthews blocked a hard slapshot from the point; according to Scott Baldwin it was his 150th blocked shot — a GoodSports record. How he knows this, I haven't the slightest clue. Congrats to Dave, and better luck to us for next week.
