WEDNESDAYS #5 vs. PHANTOMS:

(vol. 40W, no. 5; newsletter b.n.)
editor's note: While writing this newsletter, Brian inadvertently “merged” the events of last Wednesday's win, with last Sunday's loss. So if this doesn't seem to make a whole lot of sense, do not adjust your screen — it's just #67 ...
You know, it seems like the Pirates were on a roll until some 2-foot of snow was dumped on the Jersey Shore ... and then the Pirates season came crashing down faster than the soccer bubble collapse. And if the potential of sharing the hockey rink with a bunch of pansy soccer players (author's opinion — does not necessarily reflect the views of the Coastal Pirates Franchise) was not bad enough, MTV cancelled Kenny G's favorite show — “Jersey Shore.” What is the world coming to? What happened to global warming by the way? (Oh yeah, I forgot, someone did predict that global warming would bring on more intense storms .... maybe they are right after all).

So, unfortunately the aforementioned MTV didn't drop the hammer until after our game ... so the bounce you would expect in his game is going to have to wait for next week. Troch, on the other hand had things going: He was looking good had a couple goals. Unfortunately he wasn't playing for the Pirates, so it really shouldn't be mentioned ... because we all know that no one really exists unless they are playing for the Pirates. But since I have nothing else to write about, It'll have to do ... Other than Russ of course who netted a pair of goals. Go Giants (wait its 34-3) ... never mind J! E! T! S! JETS! JETS! JETS!
