SUNDAYS #2 vs. CHIEFS*:

(vol. 40W, no. 2; newsletter b.n.)
There is probably only one thing I like about having a “bye” and that is I don't get twenty emails from Harris wondering where the newsletter is.

So why am I writing the newsletter on a week when the Pirates have a “bye” week? I don't know. Somehow I got dragged into writing the Sunday newsletter. Wasn't Tony filling in? He always likes writing the newsletter ... Speaking of Tony he got like a goal and an assist on the night, so you know he wouldn't want to give up on the opportunity to let everyone know that. Not that I wouldn't let everyone know — it's just that Tony would do it so much better. He would probably also get a mention or two in for #67, who gets mentioned plenty already so I won't mention him again (in this sentence at least).

Of course if Tony wrote the newsletter he would have at least got his facts right. Apparently he didn't get a goal and an assist, but instead he had three assists. Goals were scored by Jay, Kevin and Joe. Pirates lost by the way. And if Tony wrote the damn newsletter you would have a better idea why.

THIS PICTURE IS NOT PHOTOSHOPPED

Got an email from Wildman during his world tour: “Mai j'ai une chemise s'il vous plaît?” Don't know what that means but he added “It was freezing out, but since you insist on Pirate logos I roughed it for this pic.” Now that's taken one for the team French-style.

*editors note: The Chiefs have undergone some sort of name change and are now the “Lunch Ladies” so don't be confused by the change of names on the sked.
