SUNDAYS #1 vs. BULLDOGS:

(vol. 37S, no. 2; newsletter by a.t.)
editor's note: If the guy on the Bulldogs who Tony mentions at the end of this newsletter happens to read this, then we would like to take this opportunity to remind readers that the views expressed do not necessarily reflect those of the Coastal Pirates organization.
Games against the Bulldogs are always filled with great defense, great goaltending, a little chippyness and best of all, memorable one-liners. This past Sunday was no different. Both goaltenders played awesome and it took two lucky bounces to give the Bulldogs a 2-0 victory. Though the Pirates were on the losing end, it was not due to lack of effort — the team played hard across the board and put it to the Bulldogs the second half of the game.

McIntyre (the Bulldogs goalie) was the only thing that could stop us, and he did, so kudos to him! This game was filled with a couple of fights (Kevin and I), alot of penalties (Scotty and I) and plenty of yelling (Russ and I) ... hmm, maybe i didn't have such a good game.

Anyways, In the past couple of games I got such things screamed at me like: “Talk to me when you make 90k a year and drive a BMWer”; “Your jealous of my talent,” and, most recently, “nice earrings.” Its all in good fun I'm sure ... plus, it's hard to take seriously when the guy who said all three, plays with a Nok
hockey stick and hangs at the red line while his team busts their ass on defense — though I did hear #67 was actually jealous of his talent :)
