SUNDAYS #7 vs. TEAM BC:

(vol. 36S, no. 7; newsletter by r.n.)
The Pirates had a rematch with the BCASs on sunday night and the M.I.B. played respectably and stayed in the game but never really threatened to win the game. The Pirates came out flat and weren't quite prepared to play such a formidable opponent and as a result quickly fell behind by two. Although the lead was cut to one, that margin only lasted a few moments until it was two again. From this point on the match was pretty even.

The Pirates once again proved they can play with this group, but need everything to fall into place to be able to beat them. There were some nice goals and some penalty killing too, but the opponents simply outplayed the Pirates enough at every position to secure the victory.

Attendance at the post-game meeting was pitiful.
