Scooby continued his point streak when he began the scoring for us and then ralz's well-placed wrister (into the high glove-side of the net) allowed us to take a 2-0 lead in the locker room after one period.

Glenn kept our team's scoring race close when he added one of his own in the 2nd.

Our 3-0 lead quickly evaporated, however, when the blizzard swarmed deep in our zone at the beginning of the 3rd and found a man alone in front for the put away. seconds later, a slapshot from mid-ice deflected off the shaft of my stick and found its way into the net, to make it a 3-2 game with over 12:00 minutes left. while killing a penalty, though, defenseman Rob Armswood bobbed-and-weaved into their zone and scored shorthanded which gave us back our momentum. with 4 minutes left, they blindsided Wildman into the boards deep in our zone which resulted in a powerplay for us and effectively ended any chance of a comeback for them.
